Fabio Guolo, MD, University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy, discusses predictors of prolonged hematologic adverse events (AEs) to CPX-351 treatment in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). A low bone marrow cellularity at diagnosis correlates with an increased risk for prolonged AEs, such as cytopenia, although this does not impact treatment outcomes for these patients.
